These aren’t your grandmother’s
flower arrangements.
The Beginning
My passion for flowers was born in my childhood when my mother would let me help plant marigolds around our back porch. I loved getting my hands in the dirt, seeing the plants grow bigger and come into their full potential - it was magic. For years, I’ve enjoyed landscaping at my homes and always talked about wanting to be a flower farmer. It wasn’t until the height of Covid, working as an inpatient nurse, that I took the plunge into full on flower farming. Initially, I didn’t know who I was growing for - Would I sell to florists? Sell the flowers myself? It didn’t take long for me to discover that I have a deep connection with floral design and find it to be even more special designing with blooms that I grow myself. To share that beauty and love with the community, literally starting from seed, is a deeply spiritual experience.
It’s All in A Name
I get a lot of questions about where the name ‘Laureli’ came from. I unfortunately can take zero credit for it. My childhood best friend, Lindsey, the one responsible for pushing me to find joy in a time of darkness, was the creative mastermind behind the name. She cleverly found a way to mash our names together and it just felt right - Laureli has DEEP roots.
